Giulia Galluccio is leaving us.
We could cry, but instead, we shall rejoice and congratulate her for her impressive success. Indeed, she has been selected through a highly competitive exam for a permanent position as “European Project Engineer” at the headquarters of the CNRS, Paris, France.
For the past six years, she has been part of MIDA project, from the early stage of the set up to the implementation, as Project Manager.
Besides her efficiency, we will remember her kindness, enthusiasm, dynamism, and sense of humour.
Giulia, when I met you, you were the representative of the PhD students in contemporary history of Islam at the supervisory board of IISMM, which I was heading at the time. Now, after six years of successful and fruitful collaboration, I am honored to call you my friend.
I wish you a lot of success in your new job and I am confident that our paths will cross again someday.
