We are happy to announce that our ESR Mounir Saifi participated in a seminar within "Islam in the 'Glocal' Mediterranean. Memory and the Uses of the Past", an online symposium organized by his university, the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM), and Fundacion Euroarabe, a foundation dedicated to promoting Euro-Arab cooperation.
The objective of the symposium is to facilitate exchange with the scientific community regarding: a) History and memory of Western Mediterranean Islam; b) Formal and non-formal learning of Islam in Spain; with the notion "Glocalization" being the starting point of both reflections.
