On Friday the 28th of October at 3.45 p.m. I shall give my valedictory lecture as professor of Islam in European Societies at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam. Prior to that lecture we organise a seminar about the same theme of my lecture. The title/theme of the lecture is the Janus-face of the bureaucratic incorporation of Islam in European societies.
