This week, three of MIDA's Early Stage Researchers have started their online research journey with our partners at the Tropenmuseum in the Netherlands. Elmozfar (ESR5) will be researching the history of the personal networks behind some of the museum's Middle Eastern collections. Elaheh (ESR9), meanwhile, will be working on the curation behind the museum's photography and print collections from Iran and Afghanistan. Rukayyah (ESR13) will be tracing the specters of Muslim pilgrims from the Dutch East-Indies in the museum's unique collection on the Hajj and Arabia.
