MIDA is pleased to announce that we have good news from our Early-Stage Researcher Mustafa Colak's project!
Peter Verhaar and Ben Companjen, research software engineers at the Centre for Digital Scholarship who help Mustafa with building digital tools to analyze television drama, applied for help from the Netherlands eScience Center within their call for Small-Scale Initiatives on Machine Learning and the application was accepted! Peter and Mustafa attended "Small-Scale Initiative on Machine Learning 2021-Technology Week", which was held 17-21 May 2021.
After this intensive kick-off, support will continue until the end of 2021 with regular meetings with eScience engineers and their expertise on advanced machine learning and data processing at scale.
